About Us
Our Motivation
As we advanced into higher STEM courses (AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus), we noticed a huge emerging trend: the decrease in the number of female students. The gender imbalance amounted to the degree where in some classes, the ratio of female to male students were 1 : 9. In an effort to create a more inclusive scientific community, our goal is to encourage our peers and younger generations so that the gender ratio balances out.
Mission Statement
We stand for the empowerment of women in STEM, a traditionally male dominated field. We strive to reach every sector of our community, and to provide resources and encouragement for those who pursue one's passion amongst this environment. We become role models and predecessors who exert excellence in STEM topics of our interest. We teach and mentor the future female scientists and engineers that would contribute in creating a more inclusive scientific community.
